Stackles

Stackles (formerly T-Stak) is a South Africa–based Drum & Bass DJ and producer active since 2011, known for delivering immersive, high-impact sets that balance dark, hypnotic pressure with explosive dancefloor energy. Drawing from Jungle, Rollers, Techstep, Neurofunk, and Dancefloor, his sound is built for movement, tension, and release — crafted as a journey rather than a playlist.

In 2015, Stackles founded The Bass Communion, a platform focused on events, artist development, and international collaboration. He has performed alongside respected international artists including Lenzman, GEST, Filip Motovunski, Lockjaw, and HAEZER, and has played a key role in connecting South African Drum & Bass with the global scene through artist bookings and partnerships.

His performance history includes major festivals and events such as Smoking Dragon New Years Festival, Elysium Festival, Lush Festival, and We Are Animals, alongside a strong underground presence. Internationally, Stackles made his debut in Dubai, performing for BASSWORX DXB (Signal DXB) and Unity DXB.

With a philosophy centred on shared experience, Stackles’ sets are designed to fully immerse the crowd — creating a space where, for one hour, nothing exists beyond sound, rhythm, and connection. Now back in the studio, he is preparing new releases while continuing to expand his international reach.
